Construction of a simple Celestial Sphere Model

The "Observer's Horizon" is a pot-plant holder (wire frame, horizontal ring on tripod design). The ring is about the same diameter as the sphere. When the sphere is lowered into the holder it fits snugly about half way down. When the sphere is correctly oriented in the holder, it represents the observer's celestial horizon.
